    MY HOROSCOPE TODAY

    Monday, August 25, 2008, 02:59 PM [General]

WELL AGAIN TODAY'S HOROSCOPE DID IT AGAIN, BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN HAVING A NASTY TIME OF IT WITH MY ARTHRITIS FLARE UPS, WALKING HAS BECOME A MAJOR CHORE FOR ME AND SO IT HAS BEEN SO HARD TO REMAIN POSITIVE ABOUT TODAY OR WHAT WILL BECOME OF ME TOMORROW. THIS MESSAGE IS WHAT I NEED TO FOCUS ON TO KEEP MY MIND ON THE POSITIVES, AND WHAT I CHOOSE TO BE.

    A Positive Shift
    Taurus Daily Horoscope

You may be focused on a misperception of lack and feeling gloomy today. Perhaps you are feeling down about your finances or struggling with negative thoughts. If you have been seeing the glass half-empty rather than half-full lately, you might benefit from choosing to see your situation from a different perspective. While struggles will happen occasionally, you can get through them easily if you adopt a positive mind-set. By understanding that you can choose how you want to feel in each moment, you can learn to change your mood by using the power of your thoughts and intentions. Even if nothing has changed about your situation, you can feel happier and more in control today.

When we choose our mind-set, rather than allow ourselves to be influenced by our circumstances, we empower ourselves. In the midst of difficulties, it is easy to allow our frustration to turn into pessimism. If we can remember that pessimism only makes a situation worse, we can choose to focus our thoughts on what's positive about our circumstances. While this may not solve all of our problems, it can help us feel better while we deal with our situation. If we consistently focus our thoughts on what's positive about our situation, we eventually begin to experience only the positive-and a negative situation becomes a positive one. Concentrate on what is positive about your life today, and you will create a more positive reality.

    Safe And Secure
    Taurus Daily Horoscope

Today you may feel worried that you won't get the security you want or will lose the security you already have. Your fears can only increase your insecurities. Since fear tends to stem from emotional or mental projections, shifting your attention to the present and grounding yourself in your body might be the quickest and healthiest way to focus your attention in the moment. Going for a jog, a bike ride, or taking a yoga class can center you and get you focused on what you are doing right now. Let go of your fears today, and all your worries about the future will dissipate.

By bringing our attention to the present moment, we can release ourselves from mind-based fears. Our fears exist in our heads-we tend to be afraid of what could, but may not, happen. Fears are based on possibility, not actuality. And if what we are afraid of ever does come to pass, it is usually never as frightening or unbearable as we imagined. Staying focused in the present moment allows us to let go of our fears. We decrease the chances of our fears happening because we are no longer feeding them by paying attention to them. Release yourself from your fears by focusing on what is happening to you right now, and you will free yourself today from apprehension and enjoy a more secure reality.

    My Dream horse

    Monday, August 25, 2008, 08:29 AM [General]

I have a question for all you Shamans out there, I have had 3 or 4 dreams where I am talking to a grey dapple Arabian horse , and I would like to know what this horse is , is he a totem, guardian, teacher or what?

    1. First dream, I am riding this horse, we are now on a farm(this farm use to be my high school boy friends home, but not anymore) I haven't been near this place for over 25 years, it is a few miles from my childhood and mothers home. We are at this farm and the horse is talking to me,  but not with mouth, apparently we talk with our thoughts. And it tells me alot, but as dreams go, I can't remember a blasted thing, but I do remember this, I asked this horse who it was, and he says he has been with me for many generations. Other than that I can not for the life of me remember. Ok after this dream the next morning my mom calls me and wants me to come down there and spend the day, so I drive 45 miles south of where I  visit my mom, my mom has a craft shop in her back porch where she sells her crafts and hand made and quilted quilts. She wants to visit some of her neighbors who have antique shops set up in their homes , so we drive to the first one which happens to be my old boyfriends home, I don't know who the people are that have it now but I pull into the drive and there is the same colored  horse that I saw in my dream, I go over and pet the horse but it does not talk....... any how what is this? I dream of a place I haven't seen for 25 years, I dream of the identical horse that is really on this farm...What is this telling me. what does it mean to dream such a dream and many parts of it really happen in real life the next day?

    2. Second dream, there is a big river, lots of family are up at the camp, I am by the river and there is a 2 or 3 year old child in the river, I jump in to try to save the child and we are both pulled under in a whirlpool. We keep going down till all of a sudden I come up out of the water alone, the child is no where to be seen, and I am in an underground cavern, and over by the rock wall is this same horse, I know I travel with this horse but do not remember any thing of the travels, next thing I remember is that I am looking at my body laying in bed with my arm around this horse who is laying on its side back to me, and then all of a sudden I wake up and I am laying exactly as I just saw in my dream but it is my husband that I am laying by .

    3. Last night I am riding this horse, we are talking with our minds, but of coarse I don't remember the conversation, I remember thinking that  it was so great to be on this horse and not hurt, in life I have arthritis real bad in my hip and I can not sit on a horse because it would cause extreme pain. any how I am excited for the freedom I am having with out pain in riding this horse, I am riding without a saddle or bridle, I must hold onto it's mane. I ask the horse if I am hurting him by holding on to the mane he says no. I feel like when I am riding that we are one, and I don't recall any bumpy ride, it is like we are flying because it is so smooth.  we are in a field with some other horses, and then I realize that he is feeling frisky and at that moment I realize it is a stallion, before this I didn't know if it was a male or female.I ask what kind of horse or color he liked and he said he liked those with 2 or more colors, just like the ones I like, like a buck skin, appaloosa, paint. etc.then I wake up. I can't recall any other things he said but I know it was more than I remember and I don't recall where we went but I know I traveled. Before I went to bed last night I was rubbing my fore arms because the muscles in both of my arms were sore, like the soreness of over use, but I know for a fact I haven't used them in that way especially the past 2 days because I was unable to do much because of a flare up with my arthritis and fibromyalgia. I was wondering why in the hell  they were so sore, Maybe I have been doing alot of riding and holding on in my sleep for my arms to be sore?

So,any adept shaman out there who can give me some clues as to what is going on and why I can't remember if it is so important? Who could this horse be to me? I thank you all in advance.

    blessed be

    INANNA

    Thursday, August 21, 2008, 07:46 PM [General]

Inanna is my most favorite Goddess, she is who I admire the most and if I was to have a matron goddess, it would be her! She came to me when I was but a child. I remember that as a child and all through school when I was board in class I would doodle, you know draw but not with any intent, and I would always draw a figure of a  big butt and breasted woman. Well about 10 years ago I bought an Inanna silver pendant that looks like the picture here below as I was looking at it , when I looked at the back side of it , I remembered my doodle woman and it was the exact shape as Inanna, imagine that! I also have many symbols that pertain to my life that I discovered were her symbols, Venus, Taurus, the number 8  and a few more.     I am fascinated by anything that is about her and her family and her country, this article is a good one I would like to share with you all.

    blessed be

    Inanna

Inanna is the Queen of Heaven and Earth and the Goddess of Love.  She is also Goddess of Grain, War, Fertility, Sexual Love, and perhaps best of all, Lady of Myriad Offices.  As noted in Archetypes, Inanna was known in Mythology as healer, lifegiver, and composer of songs; the keeper of emotions -- ranging from loving, jealous, grieving, joyful, timid, and exhibitionistic, to thieving, passionate, ambitious, and generous.  Inanna was eternally youthful, dynamic, fierce, sensuous, the harlot-virgin, never settled nor domesticated, magnetic, yet independent.  She was into fertility, order, war, love, heavens, healing, emotions, and song; always wandering, searching for her home, her power.  Ultimately, she was the embodied, playful, passionately erotic, feminine; the powerful, independent, self-willed, feminine; the ambitious, regal, many-sided feminine.

If there is to be a Return of the Goddess, it will likely be Inanna -- accompanied and announced by Lilith.  The rest of the Anunnaki troop will likely simply step aside.  (Albeit, Ningishzidda might be in an honored place in the retinue.)   And with any luck, the Sacred Orgasm will find itself in the midst of many more lovers.

    vvvvvvvvvvvvvv

The so-called myths of Inanna were created sometime between 1900 BC and 3500 BC, although they may have been created even earlier.  In their original inception they were pre-patriarchal myths. At the same time, Inanna's myths also show the incursions of the patriarchy, her gradual dispossession and loss of status.  In spite of her power as goddess of most everything, Inanna becomes a wanderer; she takes a powder.  Most of the powers once held by her were being slowly eroded.  The fact she was pictured as a beautiful woman (i.e. attractive to males, as opposed to the earth fertility goddesses of pre-history), suggests that she was under attack early on.

Inanna, nevertheless, provides a many-faceted symbolic image, a wholeness pattern, of the feminine beyond the merely maternal.  She combined earth and sky, matter and spirit, vessel and light, earthly bounty and heavenly guidance.  She was Queen of Heaven, goddess of gentle rains and terrible floods, goddess of the morning and evening star, queen of the land and its fertility, bestowing kingship on chosen mortals.  She was the goddess of war (more  powerful than Athena and Artemis combined), and equally passionately, the goddess of sexual love.  More extroverted than Aphrodite, Her receptivity was active.  Eventually, she was known by many names (Ishtar, Isis, Neith, Metis, Astarte, Cybele, Brigit, etc.), although those in later times were often described as having much less power or less all-encompassing.

Of the many stories and hymns about Inanna, four are particularly noteworthy.  Three of these describe her basic "coming of age".  The first deals with her acquiring her throne and bed, her queenship and womanhood, her sovereignty and sexuality.  In the process she lets go of the primitive, grasping, human aspects; her unacknowledged, unexpressed fears and desires; in order to be deserving of the gifts of throne and bed.  In the second myth, Inanna acquires from the god, Enki, The Me which she in turn gives to her city of Uruk and ultimately to all humankind.  The Me are the attributes of civilization, a set of universal and immutable rules and limits which had to be observed by man and god alike.  The Me included kingship, priesthood, truth, garments, weapons, art of love making, speech, music and song, power and treachery, deceit, travel, kindness, writing, attention, fear, dismay, judgment, decision-making, allure, and the art of women.  In effect Inanna truly earned her queenship and protectorship of her city.  In the third myth, Inanna takes a consort and makes him king.  She also becomes a mother.

In the fourth myth, the Descent into the Underworld, the Goddess goes far beyond the mundane.  In all respects she undergoes the ultimate spiritual initiation, a Descent into Hades.  In the  process, she lets go of all those possessions and characteristics which feed the ego, and ends up hanging on a nail as a rotting corpse in the bowels of the underworld.  But then, after acknowledging her shadow side, she ascends back to Earth and thereafter acts as the complete, fully-formed goddess that was always her.  Much of the symbolism of her trip From the Great Above to the Great Below continues to this day in various initiatory rites of societies and organizations dedicated to the mysteries of the beyond.

Inanna was also the favorite of Anu, the Number One Anunnaki, and thus with the approaching end of the Age of Pisces (scheduled for 2012 A.D.), she may making the ultimate comeback, the Return of the Goddess, wherein she will wreck havoc with the patriarchy -- very likely in a manner that can not be imagined.  The Great Goddess can be expected to take names and kick... whatever needs to be kicked!  But in a very nice way.

    Mayan Calendar

    Thursday, August 21, 2008, 07:21 PM [General]

I find prophecy any prophecy, whether from the bible or ancient people fascinating because many say the same thing only it is 'their people' who will be saved.an interesting article on the mayan calendar and 2012 now rapidly approaching, will it be like the Y2K or will this really happen? Only a few more years will tell.

    blessed be

There is a rumor going around that at the end of the Mayan Calendar, the world will end.  An alternative view is that the World Will Not End!  [A third alternative is that time as we know it will end, but the world may continue merrily along -- in some fashion or another!]

Carlos Barrios [1], an historian and anthropologist, is reputed to have said that, "Other people write about prophecy in the name of the Maya.  They say that the world will end in December 2012."  Barrios claims that the Mayan elders are angry about this.  According to them, the world will not end.  It will be transformed.  There is, in fact, a difference.

The Mayan's comprehension of time, seasons, and cycles has proven itself to be vast and sophisticated.  The Maya developed 17 different calendars, some of them claiming to chart time accurately over a span of more than ten million years [But how would anyone know?].  The particular Mayan Calendar that has steadily drawn global attention since 1987 is called the Tzolk'in or Cholq'ij.  This calendar was devised ages ago and is based on the cycle of the Pleiades.  As such, it is held as sacred.

With indigenous calendars, native people have kept track of important turning points in history.  For example, the daykeepers who studied the calendars identified an important day in the year One Reed, Ce Acatal, as it was called.  That was the day when an important ancestor was prophesied to return, "coming like a butterfly."  In the western calendar, the One Reed date correlates to Easter Sunday, April 21, 1519 the day that Hernando Cortez and his fleet of 11 Spanish galleons arrived from the East at what is today called Vera Cruz, Mexico.  When the Spanish ships came toward shore, native people were waiting and watching to see how it would go.  The billowing sails of the ships did indeed remind the scouts of butterflies skimming the ocean surface.

This event initiated a new era, one that had been anticipated through the Mayan calendars.  The Maya termed the new era: the Nine Bolomtikus, or nine Hells of 52 years each.  As the nine cycles unfolded, the Mayan land and freedom were taken from the native people.  Disease and disrespect dominated.  What began with the arrival of Cortez, lasted until August 16, 1987 - a date many people refer to as the Harmonic Convergence.  Millions of people took advantage of the latter date to share in ceremonies at sacred sites, praying for a smooth transition to a new era, the World of the Fifth Sun.

From that 1987 date until now, Mr. Barrios says, "We have been in a time when the right arm of the materialistic world is disappearing, slowly but inexorably.  We are at the cusp of the era when peace begins, and people live in harmony with Mother Earth.  We are no longer in the World of the Fourth Sun, but we are not yet in the World of the Fifth Sun. This is the time in-between, the time of transition.  As we pass through transition there is a colossal, global convergence of environmental destruction, social chaos, war, and ongoing Earth changes."

[All good calendar changes have transitions.  They are really essential.]

All this, Mr. Barrios says, was foreseen via the simple, spiral mathematics of the Mayan calendars. "It will change," Mr. Barrios observes. "Everything will change." He said Mayan Daykeepers view the Dec. 21, 2012 date as a rebirth, the start of the World of the Fifth Sun.  It will be the start of a new era resulting from and signified by the solar meridian crossing the galactic equator, and the earth aligning itself with the center of the galaxy.  And while the so-called World of the Fourth Sun will indeed end, the result is true to the idea of Death and Rebirth.  The key is not focusing on death, but on the rebirth!

At sunrise on December 21, 2012 for the first time in 26,000 years the Sun rises to conjunct the intersection of the Milky Way and the plane of the ecliptic.  This cosmic cross is considered to be an embodiment of the Sacred Tree, the Tree of Life, a tree remembered in all the world's spiritual traditions.  Some observers say this alignment with the heart of the galaxy in 2012 will open a channel for cosmic energy to flow through the earth, cleansing it and all that dwells upon it, raising all to a higher level of vibration.

This process has already begun, Mr. Barrios suggested.

"Change is accelerating now, and it will continue to accelerate."  If the people of the earth can get to this 2012 date in good shape, without having destroyed too much of the Earth, Mr. Barrios said, we will rise to a new, higher level.
